The Moose Hide Campaign Day

The Phoenix Centre for Children and Families is pleased to announce they are supporting the annual Moose Hide Campaign Day which takes place across Canada on May 12, 2022.

The Moose Hide Campaign Day is a day of ceremony where all Canadians are called to join together to take a stand against violence towards women and children and to take practical steps towards the journey of reconciliation.

The Phoenix Centre is participating in the Moose Hide Campaign Day by organizing a walk. The purpose of the walk to raise awareness of the violence that exists against women and children. They are inviting everyone in the community to join in. There is no cost to participate. A moose hide pin, a visible symbol of support of Moose Hide Campaign Day will be distributed to everyone in attendance.

Locations: Pembroke Waterfront Park – Gazebo and Renfrew Municipal Town Hall

Time: 6pm

Everyone is encouraged to register and show their support. Registration is FREE!
